Pegboard, Hardboard, MDF & HDF

PPI has more capacity to produce pegboard than any other fabricator in North America. Our CNC controlled punch presses can produce clean & sharp pegboard holes with accurate margins on all four sides. Pegboard is produced from hardboard and HDF (High Density Fiberboard).

Standard hole patterns include 1” x 1” OC, ½” x ½” OC, 1” x 2” and 1” x 3” OC. Standard hole sizes are 9/32” (nominal ¼”) and 3/16” (nominal 1/8”).

CNC controls allow for varying spaces between rows of holes. Blank spaces are for logos, graphics or design variations. Peg hole column spacing can be varied through removing punches in our perforating dies.

You are not limited to standard pegboard patterns with Panel Processing.

Large rollouts are no problem with multiple punch presses in all of our plants. No job is too large, or too small.

Hardboard & HDF

At Panel Processing, Inc., hardboard & HDF is fabricated into a number of products, either perforated or solid. PPI does not produce hardboard from raw materials, but purchases it in large volume from major manufacturers primarily in North America.

We fabricate both S2S (Smooth 2 Sides) and S1S (Smooth 1 Side) hardboard in thicknesses of 1/8", 3/16", and nominal 1/4" (7/32"). S2S dry process hardboard and thin HDF (High Density Fiberboard) comes in 3.0mm, 4.8mm and 5.5mm. The large & extensive inventory of sizes and types maintained at all of PPI’s manufacturing plants assures every customer of the best availability at the lowest net board cost possible.
